Choosing a Template

You may choose any stock template from TemplateMonster as long as it is within the "Website Templates" product type. This means that you cannot chose function-specific templates, such as CMS, Blog, osCommerce, etc.

Acceptable templates must be in one of the following formats:

• Flash site (Full non-flash version included)
• Full site
• CSS site
• Stretched site
• Sources available: HTML

When choosing a template, you should find one as close to what you have in mind as possible. Look for one that would be perfect if all you did was change out the header with your new custom header and added your own content. Specifically, the color scheme and location of the menu (top, left or right) should be exactly what you want as-is. Internet ArchiTECH will not be customizing the colors or structure.

If you find a template that you really like but it will need to be alerted then feel free to choose it. The additional customizations will be charged at our hourly rate.

Semi-Custom Services

After each of your name-brand services are setup and tested, Internet ArchiTECH will make slight modifications to your stock template website design and layout. Rather than create a custom design from scratch, we will enhance your stock template, creating what we call a semi-custom design. What does this entail?

First, we will modify the menu section and the center section in order to integrate the editable regions of your website. This will create a blank space for your menu and content. We will activate the Edit Now admin tool for you to edit your menu and content.

Next, we will customize the header/logo section of your website. This is usually a wide, rectangular area across the top, either a static image or animated Flash. All templates come with stock headers. However, most people chose to use a new custom header rather than use the stock header.

To create a new custom static image header, our experienced professionals will create custom artwork related to your business or industry and incorporate your company name as text. Upon your request, we can incorporate your existing company logo or create a new company logo at no extra charge.

If you chose to use the stock Flash header included with your template, we will insert your company name as text. If the Flash header originally included a flash menu, we can either preserve it or convert it to HTML for use with the Edit Now admin tool at no extra charge.

All additional customizations will be charged at our hourly rate.

Go Live

After purchasing a website combo, you will receive an email request for you to choose a stock template design. After it is reviewed it to make sure it is an acceptable format, we will begin setting up your services and customizing your website. Your website will go live within 14 days and you will receive a confirmation email.

At this point, the process is complete and the keys are handed over to you. From there, you may add/edit the website content at your convenience using the Edit Now admin tool. You can add/edit pages, links, text, images and more.

Upon request we can add the content for you. You may submit the content to us or let Internet ArchiTECH copywriters write original text for you. All content writing or editing will be charged at our hourly rate.
